“As I was putting together old demos and not-so-sharp recordings for the lovely folks who’ve been asking for a stripped-down version of the old songs, I felt the urge to sit down in a room and re-record them all in one take - as they sound now - complete with siren noises and the laughter of people partying in the streets of East London.

It's very fragile work, but I'm fine with it - sometimes, one just has to let go of control.
